Plato on reality and the soul Essay Example for Free
Plato on reality and the thought EssaySocrates believed that the nous is saturated and the body is corrupted, where wisdom is accounted for the soul and needs, thus the materialistic and carnal desires are to the body. Platos Phaedo discussed in the world of forms. Any entity or object has a quality or feature or quadruplicate properties. And these properties are prior conditioned to the soul. Platos metaphysics can be drawn primarily from the influence of his teachers Paramenides, Heraclitus, and of course Socrates. First, the concept from Parmenides belief that there could be unless one being, and this is a never changing entity. It has a static quality. This is where Plato derived his concept of the world of forms. It is a different concept in the material world wherein it is an forever and a day changing world. Change can be accounted as the just thing common and the only thing consistent as Heraclitus described the nonion of mix. Academicians account that most of P latos thinking was influenced by Socrates. Socrates however was not at all articulate in conveying a Metaphysical or Epistemological discussion rather, he conveyed more ethical notions. For Socrates, The motif is for one to take care of the soul so one can be intelligent, or attain the truth. This is especially true and evident in the Phaedo where Plato accounts the last hours before Socrates separated his soul from the body. Platos Metaphysics can be analyzed as a completion of that of Socrates. The notion of the world of forms or the world of ideas is an eternal and immovable form. In contrast to this world is Chaos or the world of objects which receives the form. For example, an artist created a vase the material form of this object is only a receiver or only start outakes into the idea of the vase. The object is thus not a perfect agency of the real idea of the vase. The cardinal worlds are joined together which infuses the soul and makes possible to Heraclitus idea of the vi sible world. The world of forms can be kingdomd as perfect and the world of objects as an approximation of it. This meant that men strive to achieve it but fall short of achieving such(prenominal) perfection because the body is corrupted. Forms are main(a) and the world of objects is dependent to forms because they seek to compare to the perfect image. But because the senses are blurred they can never be perfect. It is also evident this pattern of ideas base on Socrates. Plato points out that a gay seeks for the truth and in this speculative journey makes a man better and in turn achieve good. some other evident notion of this is in discussing perfect equality. When you look at perfect equality, you notice that it is not perfectly equal. There and then we can suppose that the idea of this equality had been existent to the soul prior to the unison of it with the body. This intensifies the ideas that the soul existed before the body. However, once the soul was united with the body, the souls knowledge of ideas falls into the subconscious. During sleep, man reminisces and recognizes the world of Ideas and thus there is realization. The soul from the moment it unites with the body recognizes an irrational soul that is derived from the corruption of the material world, dissatisfaction and the seeking of pleasure. This soul is situated in the heart. The soul that comes from the world of Forms is situated in the head, on top of the irrational soul, controlling its impulses and conditions the body to live within the confines of reason.Plato in his writings in the res publica described that the end result of an individual in the Good. In his society (or the republic), he stated that this is the final goal of everyone and it is not just a reward. A just man, one of Platos virtues, is rewarded not only in this lifetime but until one is reincarnated. This eminent idea that the soul preexisted before the body in the world of forms and its separation of the soul to reac h the world of forms represents how the soul is immortal. For Plato, there is a division between the world of forms and the world of objects. In his analogy of the sun, he contrasted the two as those that are merely visible and those of intellectual value. He further explains this through the analogy of the line. Plato described four forms of knowledge. One is of the idea of pure images, dreams and imaginations. In account to the concept of the soul, as discussed earlier, the soul in the pre beingness of the body originally comes from the world of Forms. Once the soul infuses with the body, all its knowledge of the world of forms becomes part of the subconscious.Through dreams and the imagination, which is a process of the head, the seat of the rational soul, it recounts and reminisces the truths in the world of forms. The next is the perception of sensible objects that gives attribute and judgment to visible materials. We imply that a certain item has such an attribute but it can ch ange in another similar form. Another one is of mathematical knowledge which is not a perfect knowledge and one of philosophical knowledge that explains more the ideas as eternal and absolute realities. The four types of knowledge can be condensed into two more specific forms. The first two can be accounted as opinions for the things in which we perceive through sensing may look like such in one way and different in another. Another one is called understanding, in which the realities of these objects can or cannot be. It is a more logical, scientific knowledge. The idea of the soul reaching the world of forms is from an inferior to a superior level and its main goal is to reach that state where happiness exists. In the world of objects, there is ever so dissatisfaction. He further illustrates his ideas through the sabotage. He stated that the world the secludes us is an illusion to what is the truth, once we step out of the cave we get blinded by the light but as we refocus and look not into the reflections and shadows, but the real perfect forms,we see the truth and the real objects. This process of release from the cave to the outside world represents enlightenment, which in the case of Socrates beliefs is the separation of the soul to the body, to attain the truth. In Phaedo, Socrates sums up these arguments and philosophical intertwines by pursuing death himself.According to Socrates, the only way for one to attain the truth from all the imitations and corruptions of the material world is through death. One should never be afraid of something that would give enlightenment. art object should raze welcome it when the time arrives. The world of objects prohibits a man to philosophize, thus he has a hard time attaining this virtue of justice and good. There are assorted distractions that hinder man to the truth. Death for Socrates is the liberation of the soul. Death is also not merely a separation of the soul and body. It is a process and an end state that progresses to achieve the truth.Dissatisfactions, pleasures, emotions inhibit the call of reason and wisdom thus inhibiting philosophy. This separation is an ultimate embrace to the truth until the time comes when the soul unites with a body as an incarnate. Plato ultimately bridges the connection between the soul and the world of forms. As is reiterated, the ultimate goal of man is good, happiness and wisdom. These ideas or forms are not of existence in the world of objects. The world of objects, are perceived representations of man through various forms of knowledge, (of opinions and of logical knowledge). The objects man builds are imitations, thus they are not perfect. Man has a perception of what is perfect because the rational soul is of prior existence in the world of forms. The world of objects cannot be perfect and man cannot be happy because the human body is predisposed to various entanglements with pleasures, emotions, diseases, and imperfections. Philosophers are to acc ept death for it liberates man from the soul. The soul has its ultimate goal in essence is to go covering to the world of forms. In that way he would be able to attain good.
The data protection act Essay Example for Free
The info protection act EssayWhen the modem is switched on, it sends forth an ASCII timbre known as DC 1. This is the transmit enable code and is decimal 17 or 11 hex. This code is received by the computer, which knows that it is able to nonplus transmitting information to the modem. This is the XON condition. If there is unveiling traffic, the modem sends out an ASCII DC3 character. This is the XOFF condition and is 19 in decimal (13 in hex). The computer receives this code and stops transmitting data Note This regularity is be used with a serial printer. It sends out an XOFF code when its intemal buffer is full.As it prints, it reduces the amount of characters in its buffer. When the buffer has sufficient space, it sends out a DC 1 code to the computer, which resumes the transmission of data to the printer. The ASCII codes DC 1 and DC3 stand for Device Control 1 and Device Control 3. This method can transmit and receive text files, since the printable ASCII set melt do wns from 32 to I Binary files (i. e. containing machine code) contain a full range of viable numeric values. This would involve the values for the DC 1 and DC3 contracts, which means that XON/XOFF is not suitable for transmitting and receiving binary files.RS232 Pins A summary of the uses of the main reefers on a computers serial port is shown in the following table. DTR Data Terminal ready The computer informs the modem that it is powered up and ready to be active, by switching this pin to an ON state. Most modems require to receive this argue before they impart operate DSR (Data Set Ready) The modem informs the computer that it is powered up and ready to be active, by switching this pin to an ON state. Most computer ports require this signal before they will operateCTS (Clear to Send) The modem informs the computer that it is able to accept data for transmission, by switching this pin to an ON state. The computer will not send out data while this pin is OFF RTS (Ready to Send) The computer informs the modem that it wishes to give it data for transmission, by switching by switching this pin to an ON state The modem responds by switching its CTS rip ON unless its memory buffer is full, or it is receiving incoming data. TXD (Transmit Data) Carries the data from the computer to the modems RXD pin, to transmit data.Carries the data from the modem to the computers RXD pin, to receive data. RXD (Receive Data) Receives the data from the modems TXD pin, to receive incoming data. Or Receives the data from the computers TXD pin, to send outgoing data. DCD Data Carrier maintain Used by the computer to determine whether the modem has an incoming carrier (i. e. whether the line is idle or not). Some communications packages must detect a DCD signal before they will carry on. This signal can be brought from the modem or can be provided locally by a wraparound. This connects the computers DCD pin to the computers DTR pin to mould an idle condition. RI (Ring Indicator) This pin could be used by an auto-answer modem. Its value is raised high when the ph unrivalled rings. The modem informs the DTE via this change in the RI line and the DTE responds by setting its DTR line high. The modem then answers the call and data is passed from the telephone line to the DTE. * SG (Signal Ground) This pin is used as the reference for all other signal voltages. So, if a pin swings +15 it means that the pin is a 15 volts higher than the voltage on SG.This pin should not be confused with electric earth or regorge Ground (FG). Error Detection Modem communication over the normal telephone network is always prone to losses due to poor line conditions. As transmission rates become loyaler, the losses are increased. If an interference pulse occurred on a line a 28,800bps remains, the transmission would be affected 24 times more badly than a 1,200bps system, since 24 times more data will have been enthralred during that time. Serious attention needs to be salaried to detecting and correcting such errors. The space-reflection symmetry bit system described earlier is only a rudimentary look and only applies to ASCII files. Since most files are not plain ASCII, they will require to use all eight bits of the byte and there will be no parity bit. CRC Checking Data is communicable in gluts or packets with a checksum created using the CRC (Cyclic Redundancy) method. When the data is compiled into a block prior to transmission, a mathematical formula using polynomial codes) is applied to the data to produce a check descend that is unique to the data in the block. These check digits are then transmitted along with the data. The receiver stores the incoming block of data in a buffer for examination. The same formula is applied to the data in the buffer d it should produce the same answer as that stored in the check bytes. If the computed CRC figure accords with the stored CRC figure, the data in the buffer is fit to be passed on and an ACK signal is returned to the transmitting end to acknowledge the receipt of a block in good condition. If there has been any corruption of the data in the block, or even any corruption of the check bytes, then the formula produce answers that do not match. In this case, the device will request that the block of data be retransmitted This is done by returning a NAK signal to the transmitting end. A number of different block transmission techniques and error detection methods are in common use they are referred to as File Transfer Protocols and include XModem XModem sends a 128 byte block of data plus one checksum byte constituted from the sum of all the ASCII codes the block. It then waits for an acknowledgement that it has been received. The waiting time reduces the average data transfer average. All errors are given ten retries before abandoning the file transfer. It excessively has a ten-second timeout it sends a NAK signal if has not received any incoming signal after a ten secon d wait. A variation known as Xmodem/CRC sends the same 128 byte block but sends two CRC bytes. This increases the redundant bytes to be transmitted but it improves the reliability of the system and is used in preference to Xmodem where it is available. Kermit Kermit is a long established system used with mini-computers and mainframes as well as PCs. It also uses a 128 block and it provides a header with control information.Although it is widely available and reliable, it is a slow method. It is probably best used with noisy lines. Ymodem This method be quiet uses 128 byte chunks but it sends eight of these chunks before sending a two-byte CRC code that covers the entire 1024 data bytes. The method also pads out the data block until it is exactly 1024 bytes. This is fast since most of the transmission is made up of real data and there is only two bytes of redundant information. However, on a noisy line, corruption of a single bit results in the entire 1024+2 bytes macrocosm re-sent .YModem is faster than XModem on good lines but worse on noisy lines. It also allows six-fold files to be transferred in the one operation. The user selects the group of files to be transferred and the system sends them all during the one long operation. This is abouttimes referred to as Ymodem/Batch. Zmodem The above systems send their block and then wait for an ACK or a NAK from the receiving end before sending another block. They are working in half-duplex mode, resulting in wasted waiting time. umteen modem methods do not wait for a response mingled with sending blocks.Using a full duplex system, it is still able to receive the ACKs and NAKs when they come to but further transmissions can be undertaken in the meantime. When an ACK arrives it knows that a particular block has been received successfully, while an incoming NAK indicates an unsuccessful transmission of a block. The system keeps track by using a windowing system. Each outgoing packet is given a packet number alo ng with the transmission. The incoming ACK or NAK will also have a packet number attached. In the event of a NAK the system knows which packet to re-transmit.The difference between the packet currently being sent and the most recent incoming ACK or NAK is known as the window. Since a single byte can contain 256 different numbers, there is a choke to the range of available packet numbers and older numbers are reused after they have accomplished a successful transmission. This means that the window covers a small range of the available numbers and is always changing. This gives the name sliding windows protocol it is also implemented in the Sliding Windows Kermit and Xmodem systems. Xmodem, Ymodem and Kermit are used at speeds below 96,00bps.V42 is used at higher speeds and is implement in a ROM chip in the modem. The V42 standard encompasses the MNP 4 proprietary standard essential by Microcom. It is likely that future extensions of the V42 standard will move away from MNP 4 in fav our of LAP-M (Link Access Protocol for Modems) scheme as already recommended by CCITT. The MNP 5 standard combines the MNP 4 error correction facilities with data compression. Like MNP 4 it is most commonly implemented in hardware although some communication packages implement it in software. Standards.Created by CCITT, The International Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee, working under the ITU (International Telecommunications Union) which is organised by the United Nations. These standards are shared into a number of groups, including V-series, dealing with telephone circuits X-series, dealing with data networks 0-series, dealing with digital networks (digital exchanges, multiplexing, PCM, etc. ) I-series, dealing with ISDN (see later) V Standards There is a wide range of definitions and the most common ones are shown in the table. The V standards get their name from the first letter of the word vitesse, the French for speed although not all V standards are concerned w ith transmission rate. V24, for example, specifies the serial port standard and V42 and V42bis cover error correction. The bis added to a V number means that it is the second version of the standard. Dataflex, a large UK modem manufacturer, produces VFC models, also known V. Fast Class models, working at 28,800bps. These were introduced before the ratification of the V34 standard and there are some handshaking differences between their specifications. V.Fast modems can communicate with other VFC models at the top rate but with lA t, k1t lflO/ V3 5 models, they can only communicate at 14,400 bps in about 10% of cases Modem Standards Specification Operation Circuit Max Bit Rate Modulation Technique Bell 103 Full duplex dickens cable Switched 300 Frequency Shift Keying V. 21 Full duplex house 2 Wire Switched 300 Bell 202 Half duplex apartment Two Wire Switched 1,200 Conditioned Lease 1,800 Bell 201 Half Duplex Two Wire Switched 2,400 V. 26ter Full Duplex Two Wire Switched 2,400 Bell 212 Full Duplex Two Wire Switched 1,200 Phase Shift Keying V. 22bis Full DuplexTwo Wire Switched 2,400 Quadrature Phase Shift Keying V. 27 Full Duplex Four Wire Leased 4,800 Half Duplex Two Wire Switched 4,800 V. 29 Full Duplex Four Wire Leased 9,600 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation Half Duplex Two Wire Switched 9,600 V. 32bis Full Duplex Two Wire Switched 14,400 V. 34 Full Duplex Two Wire Switched 28,800 Bell 103 Full Duplex Two Wire Switched 28,800 V. 42 V42bis Data Comp V90 56,600 Even relation The sending device counts the number of one bits in the character to be Panty Bit transmitted. If the number of these data bits is even, as in the top diagram, the parity bit is set to zero.If the number of one bits is odd, as in the lower diagram, 1001 1 10 the parity bit is set to one. Thus the total number of ones in the byte will Parity Bit always be even, no matter how many ones are in the character being transmitted0100101 If any of the data bits or parity bits is accidentally a ltered during transmission, the receiving device can detect the problem by figuring the number of bits. If the total is not an even number, there has been corruption of the data. This provides an elementary check for data errors. Odd Parity Here, the sending device counts the number of one bits in the byte to be transmitted. If the number of these data bits is even, as in the top diagram, the parity bit is set to one. If the number of one bits is already odd, as in the lower diagram, the parity bit is set to zero. In this way, the total number of ones1 in the group is always maintained at an odd value. Note Parity checking is a useful facility but it is not foolproof. For example, two bits in a byte both being altered from zero to one would produce a correct parity check although the data in the byte had been corrupted. In practice, larger blocks of data are examined for corruption (see section later on Error Detection).

Importance of Organization Behaviour in Modern Business
Importance of Organization Behaviour in Modern BusinessINTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE OF ORGANIZATION BEHAVIOUR organizational behaviour is the identification, analyzing and application of knowledge about how singles and groups act in organizations. It interprets race-organization family relationships in terms of the person, group, organization, and whole fond system. Objective of it is to build better relationships by achieving people objectives, organisational objectives, and social objectives. It encompasses a wide range of beas, such as human behavior, facts of life and development, change management, leading, teams, Group behavior etc.In the knowledge do of import of battle of organisational behavior is helpful in gaining a complete perceptiveness of the business. It is not the study of how organizations behave, but rather the study of individual behavior in an organization. This includes the study of how individuals be have alone as well as in groups. The main focus of t he organizational behavior is to obtain a greater understanding of those factors which influence individual and group dynamics in an organization. Therefore individuals and the groups and organizations to which they belong may become to a greater extent efficient and legal. Organizational behavior research is in conclusion focused at providing human resource management professionals with the information and techniques which they need to select, train, and retain employees in a fashion which gives maximum benefit for the individual employee and for the organization.Organizational behavior is a modern interdisciplinary field. It draws most heavily from the psychological and sociological sciences and it also looks to other scientific fields. The interdisciplinary approach is used because the field of organizational behavior involves multiple levels of analysis, which argon necessary to understand behavior within organizations as people influence their purlieu as well as people ar i nfluenced by their environment. The business organization based on vales, missions , visions, objectives, goals and management philosophy which drives formal or informal organizations towards culture social environmentThe culture decides the type of leadership, group dynamics, communication, within the business organization. The employee perceives this as the quality of work up type which leads their quantity of motivation, which leave benefited to employee cognitive process, individual satisfaction, and personal development and growth. The combination of alone above elements will lead to build the simulate that the organization operates from. Following are the main lineaments of the organization behaviorOrganization behavior analyzing the relationship between organization, individual and the group. It more concern about people attitudes, perception, feelings, learning capabilities and specific objectives goals.(Distinctly humanistic orientation)It consists of different techni ques, methods theories to evaluate the military operations. (Multidisciplinary)It provides vital answers to questions which arise when managing organization. It analyses the factors influence the performance of a organization and describe the way of improve the performance. It uses the scientific method to analyze the performance which helps to identify the variables and relationships. It creates to achieve the path of business needs as it is concern in understanding of organization processes and skills.Factors Influence the Organization BehaviorThe feathers of people at work- attitudes, individual Differences, attributes, roles of the people and directionThe way people are promptdOrganizational commitmentEmployment engagement processThe way organizations factionsCulture of the organizationModels of Organizational BehaviorThere are four main fashion models organizations operate out of, Autocratic, Custodial, Supportive, and CollegialAutocratic this model is power with the manageme nt. The employees are oriented towards obedience and dependence on the boss. The performance end is minimal.Custodial this model is monetary resources with a managerial direction of wealth. The employees in turn are leaning towards security and reimbursement and dependence on the organization. The outcome is passive cooperation.Supportive this model is leadership with a managerial direction of support. The employees are leaning towards job performance and contribution. The member of staff need that is met is status and appreciation. The performance outcome is waking up drive.Collegial this model is tie in with a managerial direction of teamwork. The team also work oriented towards responsible behavior and self-discipline. The performance result is determineEven though on that point are several models, most of the organizations used combination of above models. The organizational behavior does not depend upon deductions based on gut feelings where as trying to collect details , information for issue in a scientific mood under controlled situations. It provides information for the findings so that the behavior of force play and group could be provokealized as desired. Majority of psychologists, social scientists and have carried out research on various aspects related to organization behavior. Job satisfaction and individual performance are determinants of achievement of employee and organizational goals.Organizations are set up to fulfill the requirement of the people. In modern competitiveworld, the organizations should have growth task-oriented which ordure achieve at the time of productivity is ensured with zero defect in quality. Employee turnover and absenteeism has a negative impact on efficiency and productivity. It is required to motivate retained the skill workers by enhancing the job satisfaction. In formal structure of organization all divisions have to function in a coordinated manner to accomplish the organizational goals, vision and ob jectives. Due to that it is require maintaining positive attitude towards work. Also it is more valuables for managers to develop the suitable work culture by exploitation authority, delegation of certain powers to team members. Benchmarking, re-engineering, job re-design and empowerment are some of the valuables factors.LEADERSHIPLeadership is most of the essence(predicate) aspect of organizational behavior which can be define as energy to influence, motivate others to achieve the set of organizational objectives or goals. In todays context the managers now are leaders of their groups, their divisions. eccentric though it may require certain specialist knowledge, the human relations part of the management job. Currently People have more flexibility and more options in their careers, which are them selves more fluid, so keeping employee motivated is very important, due to that Leadership is also important in attempting to minimize employee dissatisfaction. Leadership consists o f the effective process of delegation and empowerment.Broad classification of leadership roomsThere are several dimensions to leadership style and different ways of describing leadership styles such as, bureaucratic, benevolent, charismatic, dictatorial, unitary consultative, participative and abdicator. The different types of managerial leadership towards subordinate staff can be classified in following heading.Authoritarian style which focus on all interactions within the group move towards the manager due to power is with the manager, in this style manager him selves exercises decision-making and authority for determining policy, procedures and regulations for achieving set of objectives. Eg- The employees achieve the task will be give rewards others who have not achieved punishments. Chemanex group allocating certain objective to be achieved by each employee for a given time, then evaluate the performance based on the task achieved. Evaluation as followsMarks Category81-100 Excellent61-80 Good41-60 AverageEmployee who perform excellently, entitle 4 month bonus, effectual category 3 months, average category 2.5monthe less than average No bonus at all. It shows how above style is relevant in todays context.Democratic style leadership functions are shared with other staff of the group and the leader and focus of power is more with the group as a whole and there is graduate(prenominal) integration within the group. All members have a high decision-making, determination of policy and procedure. Eg- Janashakthi Insurance organize the foreign trips based on high performance team for the year.Laissez-faire style manager are observing that subordinate of the team are on the job(p) well independently. The manager, enhance them freedom of doing the objectives to choose out they think best and without interfering where as it is required to provide support if help is needed. Where as some confusion over this style, since the word of sure is emphasized since which is contrasted with the manager who could not care, of results keeps away from the problem points and manager does not want to get involved.Eg Vertusa -Employee has given the freedom to achieve the certain task some of the organization having combinations of above styles employees are not interest to work under the 100% authoritarian styleThere are 4 main types of leadership behavior available in accordance with goal path theoryDirective Leadership- Which consist of the way of directing to the subordinates to achieve the goals by considering rules regulations. Eg- This model applicable in the most of the judicature organization (The Department head is giving the instructions for its subordinates achieve the task with in the circulars or based on government rules policies.Supportive leadership which consist of open and reachable manner and displaying theneeds and welfare of subordinate.Participative leadership which consists of consult with their subordinates and the evaluat ion of opinions and different ideas before the manager makes the utmost decision.Achievement-oriented leadership consist of setting demanding goals for subordinates, looking for development in their performance and show confidence in subordinates ability to perform well.Leader should identify the people capability, proper execution and continuous improvementPeople capabilityIt includes setting up the ability, competencies and skills required for the modern world, and how to accomplish those requirements, including competencies evaluation, gap analysis, job and role definitions and career development. Those will lead the modern business is key to the success of this activity.ExecutionThis consists of delivery of the impertinent model. It includes both hard deliverables in the form of project plans, come about reports and budget variances, stakeholder management and soft deliverables in the form of communicationsContinuous ImprovementThis consists of measuring the effectiveness of performances and which ensure opportunities for the further improvements. Balance score card, observe alignment and performance management are the key methods of evaluating the performancesEvery organization the leadership should delegate the authorities to subordinates by considering the capability of the employees leader should lead the team, motivated, brushup the out come , continuous raising evaluate the performance.GROUP BEHAVIORThe basic character of a group is that its members regard themselves as belonging to the group. Although there is no exact definition for group it can be defined as follows.A set of people who interact with one another are psychologically aware of one another and perceive them selves to be a group.Simply a group can be define as a set of people who share most following characteristicsa definable membershipgroup awarenessinterdependencecommon purposeinteraction andability to act in a unitary manner.A social system contains all the people in system and their relationships to each other and to the external world. It is a complex set of human relationships interacting in many ways. The behavior of individual affect on the behavior of others directly or indirectly. Groups has basic feature of the working style of any organization. Group Members as well as the managers must co-operate each other to carry out works to achieve objectives of the organization as well as the individuals. Group pressures influence over the performance of the organization as well as the individual members of the organization. Group performance id directly related with the leadership which influence the behavior of the group members. Pleasant working relationships and good teamwork help to improve the morale of employees and work performance. Successful teamwork is a basic feature of modern management practices such as total quality management, empowerment, quality circles and change management. Teamwork is very important as it increases the competitivene ss power of the organization in following waysincrease the productivityimprove qualityencourage innovationmotivate employees and improve their commitmentTRAINING DEVELOPMENTSEmployee training is most important aspect in any organization. Employees are key assts of the organization there are is direct relationship with organizational performance employee performances. As a result of that employee should improve the skills, capabilities, and strength to compete with technological orbiculate changes. Due to that employee should develop following skills,Computer skills employee should develop computer skills which is most important to negotiate with planetary environment.Customer service In today customer satisfaction is most key area of business environment due to high competition of spherical market, due to that it is required to give proper training.Diversity It consist of explanation about how people have different views and perspectives, and includes methods to value diversi tyEthics It consists of a view about social and corporate responsibility. Further, todays employees bring a wide variety of values and morals to the organization.Human relations Presently organizational employees work under pressure more stress on work load. Therefore there may be lots of misunderstandings and conflicts. Proper training will minimize the unnecessary conflict misunderstandings.Quality initiatives It consist of basic training requirement about the quality concepts, Guidance for qualities, procedures Eg benchmarking, Total Quality Management, Quality Circles.. recourse Safety training is more important specially for the employees undertaking risk jobs eg working with heavy equipment , chemicals, Fuel, gas or Electricity related employmentsMost of the organization has given safety equipments when doing the risk operationsEg Hayleys ADC PLC operating chemical related productions employees are given safety manual, safety equipments proper trainingSexual harassment Thi s includes training about sexual harassment on inappropriate behavior. Normally this is included in organizational policies. Why training is important and Benefits from Employee by proper Training and DevelopmentThere are several sources that the employee can train develop them selves. They can use organizational policies, procedures, safety manuals, online information on training and development. Employees are benefiting by proper training developments. It may increase moral , job satisfaction, motivation of employee, Enhanced the productivity, efficiency of employee resulting financial benefit to the organization, Minimized the employee turnover, due to the new technologies methods enhanced the production capacityDiversityDiversity energizes customer service, employee motivation improvement of moral of employee, decision making team performances. With rapid change of global market employment relationships have also emerged from the changing work force, information technology, and globalization factors. Currently most of the organization more concentrates on corporate social responsibility to compete with standardization of values and ethics of other organizations. Currently organizational behavior pushes the competitiveness.Considering the above facts organizational behavior, play major role in todays context

HIV/AIDS: Stigma and discrimination
human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome Stigma and discriminationStigma and discrimination face by people living with HIV/AIDSIt has been defined by Roura et al., (2009) that the stigma associated with a precise kind of kindred surrounded by the behvaiours, perceptions and stereotypes is concerned with a deep sense of kind deprivation. disdain the fact, that the thought of stigma is around 40 years old, it has been much looked on and is widely used to draw implications two in social and cultural contexts. All societies own imparted convictions and implications which help them translate encounters and conduct. Implanted inside that framework be the regulations based on which is to be demonized and who is definitely non. Despite the fact that these guidelines may contrast from parliamentary procedure to society, shame is for the most part considered an adverse, moral or judgemental meaning of an single or social circumstance, regularly joined with disparaging, disrespect, fault, and attribution of obligation regarding the condition. Disgrace is not just committed to persons with undesirable physical properties. A great numerous people be acutely mindful that persons with undesirable characteristics, whether physical, mental or passionate, are effectively and immediately defamed. In British society, a great many people will concur that individuals are obviously disparaged on the premise of their race, society, fiscal status, sex and age. that, the presence of disgrace faecal matter be much treacherous when connected to those with physical and dysfunctional behaviour, inability or physical impedances, or when connected with ugliness, indiscrimination, kid/grown-up ill-use, same-sex introduction, medication utilization/misuse and passing. Once derided, the individual is discriminated as a worthy part of society, subsequently the expression ruined personality tell by Pearson et al., (2009) to depict the division of the dep rived individuals from ordinary parts of society. Once named as an other(a), the slandered individual is then subjected to separation, the activity emulating the cognitive methodology of derision.LO1 Characteristics of Quantitative and soft research methodsIt has been stated that in the current era of Modern science there are multiple ways of think backing and identifying qualitative and quantitative research. The variableness between qualitative examination methodologies and other research techniques is in inconsistency with the methodological aspects, as puff up as shows up in the opposition, in the epistemological field. This implies that the instruments, as good as in the focal methodologies describe the generation of information. I accept that the qualitative epistemology is focused around standards that use up rattling methodological outcomes. Alternately, quantitative outline addresses the numerical delineation of proof examined and information gathered.Logical info rmation from qualitative exploration is not legitimized by the quantity of subjects examined, however by the nature of its outflow (Bernard Bernard, 2013). The quantity of subjects to study reacts to a quantitative paradigm, characterized essentially by the needs of the learning procedure found sometime during the examination in factual means. Singular statement of the subject in both the techniques gets centrality as the spot which may have at one set for the generation of thoughts by the analyst. The data passed on by a specific subject can be a critical minute for the generation of learning, without essentially must be rehashed in different subjects and information gathering techniques.Qualitative exploration offers numerous perspectives with quantitative examination morals. Along these lines, the moral issues are appropriate to science as a rule to both the examination plans. Clearly, dwelling the multifaceted nature of morals and good logic, it is prescribed that an exchange that is expected to approach moral judgements of qualitative examination ought to be upheld by a few hypotheses. At the same time there are such a variety of hypotheses that a well meaning push to actualize large portions of them in the investigation of a particular examination can get to be inefficient.Especially on fib of quantitative exploration, it is important to incorporate individuals with capacity and readiness of reflection and correspondence that they comprehend social qualities, needs and powerlessness, and the concerns of potential study subjects (Bernard Bernard, 2013). Leading qualitative exploration is similarly less immoderate than directing quantitative examination. Qualitative research likewise turns out to be viable when the exploration obliges unlimited measure of data.LO2 Is look for certify appropriate to health and social care practiceSince the first instances of AIDS were distinguished in 1981, HIVs have been disparaged. The examination confirmation exis ted on this point involves to the broad accessibility of information and databases. Cao et al., (2010) recommended that in social and medicinal services connection, the dread of AIDS spread over our country, HIVs being deprived from their occupations, ousted from their homes, denied restorative prevail to, savagery and expelled from their own particular families. Additionally, HIV-positive kids have been denied admission to schools, games groups and clubs, and have encountered badgering from other youngsters and folks of other kids. This social derision of HIVs is not restricted to the joined Kingdom, either. In different nations, HIVs have been beaten to death disregarded by neighbours, managers and social insurance specialists and even compared to rehearsing witchcraft. As a result of its relationship with the unimaginable subject of male-to-male sex and the trepidation of tainting, society has reacted to HIV/AIDS by disparaging persons to avoid them as much as possible. Is this belittling got from outsiders, as well as it can be gotten from the HIVs relatives, companions and health awareness experts too. It is interesting to note that during an era when HIVs need social reliever like never before, they are or else subjected to the threatening vibe and dismissal connected with HIV-related disgrace.Radcliffe et al., (2010) characterized the expression Helps related shame as a term that alludes to preference, reducing, undermining, and segregation guided at individuals saw to have AIDS or HIV, and the people, gatherings, and groups with which they are related. This belittling can be showed in numerous diverse ways, frequently focused around the current generalizations of the society. In the join Kingdom, HIV-related disgrace showed through seclusion, dismissal, stereotyping, segregation and off and on again savagery. tender Factors of HIV-Related Stigma HIV/ AIDS confront shame on numerous classifiable levels. Medicinal diseases as of direct can be a dis grace of their own, particularly focused around the reality of the condition.Since there is right now no cure for HIV/ AIDS, the condition is grabed as deadly, a term which strikes fear in the hearts of the vast majority. In an examination article on Supports and Stigma, Wagner et al., (2010) demonstrates that there are four particular qualities of HIV/AIDS that inspire disgrace from society, specifically 1) apparent obligation of the PWHIV in getting the illness, 2) the unalterable or chronic nature of the malady, 3) the way that it can be an infectious infection and 4) the promptly obvious indications of the sickness which show as the ailment advances. Rao et al., (2012) draw a talent between instrumental AIDS disgrace (identifying with the transmittable and deadly nature of HIV) and typical AIDS shame. Instrumental AIDS shame is an after-effect of societys characteristic apprehension of the illness and the absence of instruction on infection transmission.LO3 Examining researc h evidence with consideration to hardness and reliabilityIn assessing studies, numerous methodological concerns do develop. Maybe, the most vital concerns are reliability and validity of the exploration procedure. Reliability appraisal of a study device is a centre segment of behavioural research and can be used effectively into immediate perceptions by deciding best conceivable levels of presentation. A few strategies have been utilized that can give reliability of the survey estimation routines, including test-retest, Pearson coefficient, Kendalls coefficient, odd-even, and the proportional structures strategy. Social approval systems are substantial to the degree that they gauge what they claim to quantify. It is basic that great inward and outer validity be expressed as a social approval method. In addition, the outside validity of the evaluation methodology can be evaluated and still is incorrect (Ritchie et al., 2013). The measurements analysts accept they are measuring may have little connection to what is really being measured and that face validity is deficient as the resole paradigm for assessing the validity of appraisal gadgets. One approach to survey validity would be to have the social approval evaluation created or reassessed by a board of masters or judges who are not included straightforwardly in the examination. An alternate technique would be to have a social approval evaluation of the social acceptance instrument. Case in point, in the wake of reacting to a poll, raters would react to a second survey that let them know the reason for the first survey and requested that the rate how well they thought the inquiries surveyed the reason (Ritchie et al., 2013). Also, analysts need to be mindful of radiance impacts, inclinations to tolerance or seriousness, focal propensity reactions, and position or closeness predispositions of raters, which might misleadingly improve the reliability of estimation without enhancing reaction exactness or validi ty.LO4 Demonstrate knowledge of the relationship between research theory and health and social care practiceInvestigation demonstrates that social help whether perceived or genuine is especially preponderating for females as they depend all the more on social connections contrasted with men in comparable circumstances. A few studies have recommended that apparent social mountain is more vital than genuine backing. Social backing has been demonstrated to impact both well being conduct and well being conclusions. Further, social backing has been indicated to cradle the impact of natural stressors, in this way, minimizing antagonistic results of upsetting circumstances. There is an overall reported backwards relationship between social backing and mischance among HIV-positive populaces. Albeit much is thought about HIV-related shame and HIV-divulgence, an audit of the writing uncovers an absence of understanding of how they influence misery. Consequently, the general objective of th is study is to look at the connections between sorrow (a mental result of HIV illness) and HIV-related shame, exposure of HIV positive status, and social backing among African-American ladies with HIV infection.Cao et al., (2010) portrayed social backing as an indispensable asset that an individual must draw upon for survival. As a safety asset, social backing is hypothesized to have an immediate impact on both cognitive evaluation and adapting endeavours. Social backing can help more positive examinations of individual life circumstances and backing more powerful adapting. Social backing can serve to lessen instability and stress and give the individual a method for diversion, passionate help, sensitivity and sympathy, and accommodating data. Ritchie et al., (2013) further develop the idea of social help, expressing that there is an agreeable refinement between the number and sorts of social connections and the view of the estimation of such connections. The quantity of social con nections is termed the informal community. The view of social connections is termed seen social backing. At long last, Ritchie et al., (2013) recommended that there are distinctive sorts of social backing, for example, passionate, instructive, or substantial, and the sort of help must additionally be considered til now the span of the informal community and the impression of the nature of help that is accessible. Cao et al., (2010) remarkable various studies that have demonstrated how social connections maintain wellbeing and on the other hand how low social help identifies with ban wellbeing results.Broad exploration has showed that social combination has significant physical and mental medical advantages for more schematic grown-ups. Whats more, social backing has been indicated to be identified with positive conclusions in individuals living with HIV and, all the more particularly, to gay men living with HIV. Actually, adults grow 50 years and more flavor include in excess of 10% of the HIV-positive populace in the United Kingdom. This rate is most likely overly low focused around the way that more established grown-ups are rarely tried for HIV.Not their doctors or the more established grown-ups themselves see that they are at danger for the sickness. This is further convoluted on the grounds that numerous manifestations of HIV can be camouflaged as results of maturing. Alongside ladies and minorities, more seasoned grown-ups are right now one of the quickest developing HIV-contaminated populaces. They are particularly defenceless against disease (by physical changes in the body with age and by disappointment to utilize proper insurance amid sex) and, when tainted, they are more averse to recognize the side effects, get tired and look for the help they require.LO5 Gather evidence from a variety of research sources, including charts, graphs and tables, from text and online sourcesAlthough, emotional distress serves as a motivator for help-seeking behavi or, the fear of being stigmatized may cloud the persons cognitive process of making the decision to seek help. As time is of the essence with HIV/ AIDS, this delay in seeking health or social services presents a real problem. HIV/AIDS cases are also on the rise in such marginalized groups as African-Americans, women and older adults. Therefore, in many cases, HIVs are already stigmatized prior to disclosure of their HIV-positive condition. They know all too well the results of being stigmatized and, therefore, may be even more unwilling to weaken their HIV-positive status. The HIV-related stigma, then, becomes a second or even third type of stigma that is forced upon them. In their study of HIV-related stigma received by African-American caregivers, Rudolph et al., (2010) stated that social isolation stemming from HIV-related stigma may be exacerbated for women, for elderly people, and for people of colour.Persons who get HIV through circumstances which were out of their control (i. e., extraction transfusions, needle-sticks or mother-to-kid) are even subject to this kind of slander, particularly as their infection advances. Typical AIDS shame is a statement of the general publics negative state of mind connected with the transmission of HIV. Due to the way of HIV/ AIDS, it will in the end get to be important for the contaminated individual to look for restorative consideration, at any rate. The forceful enthusiastic impacts spillage with the ailment might likewise make the requirement for usage of social administrations.. As time is of the pith with HIV/ AIDS, this deferral in looking for well being or social administrations exhibits a genuine issue. To confound matters, more established grown-ups and some ethnic gatherings are now uncertain of western solution hones, human services associations and mental health administrations and, moreover, might not have tantamount(predicate) access to these administrations. Albeit one may think divulgence to administra tion suppliers may not act like incredible a danger of being criticized as exposure to family, companions or associates, it still has dangers.ConclusionSince, the situation of HIV/ AIDS, is inevitably vital for the HIV-positive individuals to look for restorative consideration, at any rate, the compelling passionate impacts going with the disease might likewise make the requirement for use of social administrations. To entangle matters, more established grown-ups and some ethnic gatherings are as of now uncertain of western medication hones, human services associations and mental health administrations and, moreover, might not have equivalent access to these administrations. Albeit one may think deprivation to administration suppliers may not act like incredible a danger of being derided as exposure to family, companions or associates, it still has dangers. Notwithstanding the hazard that the HIVs status may not be kept totally private, there is likewise the danger of being defamed by the very administration experts to whom the HIVs turns for help. Despite the fact that health awareness experts may not have any desire to confess to slandering HIVs, the examination has confirm that HIV-related shame keeps on being forthcoming among some of them (Wagner et al., 2010). Notwithstanding the solid impact HIV-related disgrace can have on the self, it is characteristic for individuals to oppose being disparaged, and in this way, the social shame of HIV/ AIDS may make unnecessary deterrents to get social and health awareness administrations. On the off chance that the HIVs exhort to oppose defamation is stronger than their urge to look for help for themselves, they may evade usage of HIV-related administrations until such time that they cannot maintain a strategic distance from it any longer, maybe because of a hospitalization. Explain, in detail, the process of hearing in humans.
Explain, in detail, the process of h pinnuleing in humans.Explain, in detail, the process of hearing in humans. What factors can scratch our hearing in terms of perceptual experience of loudness, vend and direction? What part does psychoacoustics play in our perception of healthy.Introduction The ear can be divided into three sections each performing a specific role to change unplumbed particles into messages the brain can read. The three major parts of the ear atomic number 18 the outer, middle and midland ear. Simplistically it is somewhat alike(p) a mechanical process that changes an analogue signal into a digital message that your brain can understand. However, there be certain factors that can accept our hearing in terms of perception of loudness, pitch and direction. Psychoacoustics needs to be considered when looking at the process of hearing as it examines the relationship between conk out and the moment it has upon the brain. Physical Description of the EarThe p rocess of hearing utilises all three sections of the ear. The first section, the outer ear consists of the pinna, the auditory canal and the wax. The pinna is the main(prenominal) part of the ear that you can see, its role, to hive away sound and direct it down the auditory canal towards the ear drum. The outside of your ear is perfectly designed to collect sound. This design helps to determine the sounds direction. Sounds rocks bounce off the Pinna depending on from which direction they came from. The sound reflection from the Pinna alters the pattern of the sound wave which the brain is adequate to distinguish and determine where the sound came from. The auditory canal is the main pathway of sound, its role is to direct sound towards the eardrum, the canal is also where earwax is produced. The purpose of ear wax is to keep the ear canal clean by collecting dirt and debris. Once the sound wave has passed through the outer ear and has been tell down the auditory canal to the m iddle ear it hits the Tympanic Membrane (Ear Drum), this is a real tight thin piece of tissue which replaces the sound wave into vibrations. The ear drum separates the outer ear with the ossicles, these are the three main bones in your ear. When the ear drum vibrates this ca go fors the bones to move, the vibrations set the bones into cause passing the signal from one bone to the other. These tiny bones are called the Malleus (Hammer) directly connected to the ear drum, the Incus (Anvil) which is attached to the Malleus and finally the Stapes (Stirrup) which is attached to the Incus and is the smallest bone in the human body. The stapes is attached to the oval windowpane, a membrane which is part of the cochlea and separates the middle ear from the inner ear. The inner ear is the most complex and detailed part, containing the main sensory organ called the cochlea. Its role is to convert the vibrations absorbed through the ossicles and passed through the oval window membrane i nto electrical impulses. The cochleas shape is a small spiralled tube resembling a snail shell, this is filled with fluid and miniscule hairs. The vibrations from the stirrup cause the oval window membrane to flex which in turn sets the fluid into motion, the moving fluid brushes across thousands of microscopic hair cells called cilia, These are tuned in to certain frequencies, higher frequencies by cillia located near to the oval window membrane and lower frequencies by cillia located at the apex of the cochlea. This allows it to act as a frequency spectrum analyser. The cillia convert the vibrations into electric nerve impulses sent to the brain by the auditory nerve which is so interpreted as sound.Psychoacoustic PhenomenonPsychoacoustics also needs to be considered when looking at the process of hearing as it examines the relationship between sound and the effect it has upon the brain. The Doppler Effect is an example of this. It is the change in frequency of awave for an obser ver moving coition to the source of the wave. For example, a car emitting a constant horn sound starts to approach you at speed as you are stood at the side of the road. As the car approaches you, the sound of the horn starts to get louder and higher in pitch. Once the car has passed you the sound of the horn starts to lower in pitch and decrease in volume. As the vehicle passes, sound waves from the horn are crowded together in front of the car, the crowded sound waves produce the relatively high pitch sound, as the car passes the sound waves are more spread out resulting in the relatively low pitch sound, as you can see on the diagram belowThe second phenomenon that can affect our perception is the Haas effect. If two sounds of equal frequency content and intensity are played from different directions, we leave alone only hear the first one to arrive, and we will perceive only one sound coming from that direction. An example of this used in public call in systems so that multip le speakers do not affect the perceived direction of the sound coming from the stage.Second part (also 750 words) braggy at to the lowest degree 2 significantly different examples, discuss why certain instruments sound the way they do, How do factors such as their physical social system and the order of contend affect their individual characteristcs and timbre? How does the harmonic series come into play, and how does this determine concepts such as scale and temperamentAcoustic GuitarConstruction and playing styleA guitars construction is split in to three parts, the body, the neck and the head. The sound generating part can be found on the body and is called the soundboard. The soundboard has a monstrous round hole in the centre called the sound hole. Also attached to the soundboard is a piece called the bridge, to which one end of the six strings are attached. The bridge has a thin, hard piece embedded into it called the saddle, which is the part that the strings rest once morest. When the strings are plucked, the vibrations travel through the saddle onto the bridge and then into the soundboard. The soundboard then vibrates. As the body of the guitar is hollow, these vibrations are amplified and emanate from the sound hole.Harmonic SeriesWhen a note is struck on a guitar the sound produced is a series of notes. The first harmonic, the fundamental is the loudest and lowest of the series. Along with that you are also hearing tones that accompany the fundamental and are responsible of making the guitar sound the way it does. Guitar harmonics are created when you lightly touch the string at specific positions and then pluck the string, when plucked the string vibrates at its fundamental frequency, also vibrating the integer multiples of the frequency as displayed on the diagram belowThe performance of the guitar depends on the quality of the wooden soundboard. The Timbre of the can have a huge restore on the choice of wood, the way the wood is supported , the glue and even the varnish are all taken into consideration as this can have an effect on the sound of the guitar due to the quality of the sound producedDRUMA drum consists of a skin, a shell or body and a tool that holds the two pieces together. The skin of the drum is a flexible membrane, stretched tightly around the rim. Drum skins were originally do from animal skins but nowadays most use synthetic skins. The skin is held onto the rim in a variety of ways. Some use tacks or glue while others use ropes or adjustable surface brackets to attach the skin to the body. When a drum is struck, it makes a loud sharp sound followed by a rapidly decreasing tone. The sharp sound is called the attack, and it is made by a stick or hand banging onto the surface. The strike also pushes the drum head downwards. Because the drum head is elastic, it springs back up again with a lot of energy, causing it to go up higher than the position it started in. This causes it to spring back down aga in. The drum skin goes up and down very quickly, pushing air in front of it and creating the tone, sometimes known as the decay. Some drums, such as the snare, have a sharp attack with close no tone. Others, like frame drums, have a more mild attack with a tone that goes on and on.The hair cells in the organ of Corti are tuned to certain sound frequencies, being responsive to high frequencies near the oval window and to low frequencies near the apex of the cochleaThe hair cells in the organ of Corti are tuned to certain sound frequencies, being responsive to high frequencies near the oval window and to low frequencies near the apex of the cochleaThe hair cells in the organ of Corti are tuned to certain sound frequencies, being responsive to high frequencies near the oval window and to low frequencies near the apex of the cochleaSecond part (also 750 words) Giving at least 2 significantly different examples, discuss why certain instruments sound the way they do, How do factors such as their physical construction and the method of playing affect their individual characteristcs and timbre? Romeo and Juliet Essay -- Literary Analysis, Shakespeare
In William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet and Yukio Mishimas The Sound of Waves, the secondary characters play an essential role in the book. In Romeo and Juliet by an English dramatist and poet William Shakespeare, Friar Lawrence is an important secondary character who designs solutions for Romeo and Juliet and totals the play into the dramatic results. The failure of his jut out causes the tragedy of death for both main characters at the end of the story. In The Sound of Waves, Shinji Kubo, a young and poor fisherman in Uta-Jima falls in love with Hatuse, a rich mans daughter. Shinji and Hatsue try to be in concert throughout the book, but encounter many difficulties with their neighbors. Shinjis mother tries to servicing Shinji and Hatsue by asking many people and going to shrines to beg the gods for help to get them together. In Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence greatly influences the Romeo and Juliet and brings the plots to the dramatic results. Without the presence of F riar Lawrence, the story will not be so unpredictable and the tragedy may not shoot occurred. Initially when Romeo comes to Friar Lawrence and asks for wedding, Friar suspects Romeos quick changes, but is reluctant to help Romeo for this marriage. Since Romeo sincerely asks for his help, Friar in the long run agrees to Romeos plan and he says In one respect Ill thy assistant be / For this alliance may so happy prove, / To turn your households rancour to pure love (2.3.98-99). In Friars viewpoint, this marriage should be a benefit for the city of Vernoa. Friar hopes that with this marriage, it will calm the two feuding families down and allow them to get together again. This action seems to be incorrect for Friar, because he is trying to solve a larger ... ...luable in their ancient tradition. In Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence believes that people should learn the lessons from mistakes that they have previously made. In the final resolution, the fate still restates his sta tement, by having the two main characters killed. Because they have learned their lessons from their many years of disagreement, the hate between Montague and Capulet has been finally resolved through this tragic event. On the other hand, in The Sound of Waves, Shinjis mom is crucial from the beginning of the story to the final resolution. She tries her best to bring a happy marriage to her son even she does not have one for herself. She is insulted by Hutsues dad but the kindness of Hutsue wins her heart again. by dint of a series of tragic events, Terukichi Miyata, Hutesus Dad, agrees the marriage of Shinji and Hutsue as the final decision.

His father found better work there and so did a lot of his family members. Jesse had raise up in school there. On his first day, his teacher asked him what his name was and he say his nickname which was J.C. but with his southern accent it sounded uniform he said Jesse. That name stuck with him for the rest of his life. When Jesse was in the fifth grade, the track teacher there saw him running and asked him to join the track team. Though with all the jobs Jesse had he could not do track in the afternoon so his coach made him get there before school so he could practice track. /jesse sit Junior high records in the high jump with a 6 foot jump and he set another one in the wide-eyed jump with 22 feet 11 inches and 3/4. In high school, Jesse won all his major track events. He set records in the 100 pulsation step on it with 9.4 seconds which too tied the world record. Also in high school he set two world records. He ran the 220 yard dash i... ...rld record in the 100 yard dash and won the 220 low hurdles all in under forty five minutes. In the Olympics he competed in the 100 meter dash, long jump, 220 meter dash and the 400 meter dash. In the Olympics he got four gold medals. Jesse Owens was a very of import man. He set world records in high school, the Big Ten Conference Championships, and he won four gold medals in the Olympics. He also set records that stood for twenty five years. He impacted athletes by showing no matter what you have went through as a child guts no matter how bad of a life you had you can still do great things that you will be remembered for.
